Uploadbay responds to valid notices of copyright infringement. Files are uploaded by users. We do not review every file before it is shared. If you are the copyright owner, or you are authorised to act for the owner, use the process below.
Send notices to [email protected]. Put "Copyright notice" in the subject line.
What to include
A complete notice must include all of the following:
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The exact Uploadbay URL of each file you want removed. A home-page link is not enough.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
We remove or disable access to material when a notice is complete. We may also send the notice to the user who uploaded the file. Incomplete notices are returned for the missing details.
Counter-notice
If your file was removed and you believe it was a mistake, email [email protected] with "Copyright counter-notice" in the subject. Include your name, address, phone number, email, the URL that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts that apply to your address. We may restore the file if the copyright owner does not start a court action within the time the law allows.
Repeat infringement
Accounts that are the subject of repeated valid copyright notices are closed, and their files are removed.
